The purpose of the action is the hiring of research personnel for the development of SofIA, an intelligent clinical assistant based on generative AI that incorporates advanced functionalities such as automated synthesis of the patient’s medical history, contextual response to medical queries, accurate diagnostic coding, automatic generation of medical reports, and direct structuring of data within the hospital information system (HIS).
This solution will address several of the strategic challenges identified in the referenced priority, including the optimization of clinical processes, support for medical decision-making, and the reduction of errors through automation and contextual analysis of unstructured clinical data.
